Covid-19 Cancellation Policy
Face coverings will not be compulsory in indoor spaces, however please be aware that the Government advises the wearing of a face covering within an enclosed space where you may come into contact with people you don't normally meet. Please be considerate of your fellow members by complying with this expectation.
Cancellation because of COVID restrictions.
We are constantly updating our cancellation policy to reflect the most recent developments related to COVID-19 and any official travel or meeting restrictions, suspensions, isolation, or lockdown measures announced by governments. Our aim is to offer you as much flexibility as possible.
Effective November 17th 2020, we have implemented the following updates to our cancellation policy. The cancellation reasons are not exhaustive. If your circumstances do not fall within our current policy, please contact us to discuss. Our aim is to ensure the ongoing safety of our local community, guests and team while providing as much support as possible.
Government restrictions force temporary closure of the Park.
If Cotswold View Caravan and Camping Park has to close as a result of Government restrictions, you will be entitled to a full refund of the money that you have paid, or you can choose to defer your holiday to a later date within the same season. We will contact you if your holiday is affected by closure of the park.
Unable to travel due to localised Government Restrictions (e.g. live in a tier 3 area)
If you live within an area where you are advised against all non-essential travel, you must not travel to stay with us. Please contact us. We will defer your stay to a later date within the same camping season.
Unable to travel due to having to self-isolate.
If you are told that you must self-isolate due to contact tracing, or because you or anyone within your household have Covid-19 symptoms, you must not travel to stay with us. Please visit the gov.uk website to check the latest symptoms that mean that you must self-isolate. Please contact us to let us know. We will defer your stay to a later date within the same camping season.
During Stay – Covid-19 symptoms or having to self-isolate.
If you are notified at any time during your stay that you must self-isolate, or if you develop symptoms during your stay, you must leave immediately and return home. Please call us by phone. Do not tell us in person. We will defer the remaining nights of your stay to a later date within the same camping season.
Tested Positive for Covid-19
If you have tested positive for Covid-19, you must not travel to stay with us. Please contact us. We will defer your booking to a later date within the same camping season. You will need to provide proof that you have tested positive. If you are too unwell to defer your booking within the same camping season, please contact us.
