Covid-19 Cancellation Policy
Cancellation because of COVID restrictions.
We are constantly updating our cancellation policy to reflect the most recent developments related to COVID-19 and any official travel or meeting restrictions, suspensions, isolation, or lockdown measures announced by governments. Our aim is to offer you as much flexibility as possible.
Since 13/11/22 all Covid rules and restrictions have been lifted across the UK and there are currently no regulations in place. However, as we all learn to live with Covid, it's still a good idea to take sensible precautions. In this respect, we will continue to take a responsible approach to support everyone’s safety and wellbeing which is, as always, of paramount importance to us.
Effective 13/11/22, we have implemented the following updates to our Covid-19 cancellation policy. If your circumstances do not fall within our current policy, please contact us to discuss. Our aim is to ensure the ongoing safety of our local community, guests and team while providing as much support and flexibility as possible.
Tested Positive for Covid-19
If you have tested positive for Covid or are experiencing Covid symptoms, please refrain from attending our campsite until your symptoms have subsided or you have received a clear test result. In normal circumstances, the booking fee is non-refundable, in the same way as amendment fees. However, during Covid's exceptional circumstances, if you are forced to cancel your holiday unexpectedly due to Covid-19 then please contact us directly and we will handle each case individually.
What will happen to my booking should the government introduce local travel restrictions
If you live within an area where you are advised against all non-essential travel, you must not travel to stay with us.
Please contact us. We will defer your stay to a later date within the same camping season.
What will happen to my booking should new government restrictions force temporary closure of the Park.
If Cotswold View Caravan and Camping Park has to close as a result of Government restrictions, you will be entitled to a full refund of the money that you have paid, or you can choose to defer your holiday to a later date within the same season. We will contact you if your holiday is affected by closure of the park.
We review current booking conditions, as well as cancellation and amendment policies, on a regular basis. As a result, the existing booking conditions, cancellation, and amendment policy may change. If we change our booking conditions, cancellation, or revision policies, we may ask those who have already made reservations to follow the new cancellation policy.
